An AC servomotor and controller combined with a rotating-ball screw drive and linear guide rail system provides efficient, powerful and accurate positioning with less wear. Precision-ground worm gear units drive the two main knife crank arms, delivering a powerful and smooth stroke of the knife bar. An electronically controlled, micro-adjust hand wheel provides precision adjustments of the backgauge and can be turned off during machine operation.

Safety features are enormously important in today’s market; the Daeho has an infrared safety light curtain, two-button cycle and a fully-enclosed rear table. Knife changes are quick, easy and safe, yet also an easy job for a single operator in as little as ten minutes.
