SmartTools also offers optional preflighting steps that will scan submitted jobs for common errors such as process type, RGB images, and missing fonts. Some errors can be fixed automatically at this stage, while more serious errors will be flagged and the job will be stopped before ever making it to your proofer, imagesetter or even your press.
